I am proud to have served on United Way’s GenNEXT Committee from April 2020 to April 2021. GenNEXT Committee Members are leaders in our community — young professionals who have a passion for using their skills and talents to make a difference in the lives of others.
Challenge
How can our team make an impactful contribution to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic?
What Did We Do?
We created a digital download focused on the well-being of Albertans, highlighting mind, body, and soul. This became an award-winning package of resources.
Part of my role was to scope out and connect with local influencers to explore potential collaborations on this package. I secured more than $400 worth of sponsorships, enabling users who downloaded the package to engage with a local wellness app for one year at no cost.
